A hot air balloon team prepares for liftoff in Shreveport-Bossier in 2018.

Weather permitting, balloon flights will take place on Friday at 6 p.m., Saturday at 6:30 a.m., and Saturday at 6 p.m. Unlike previous years, there will not be a large festival with live music, fireworks, food vendors, and more. If weather conditions prevent the hot air balloons from taking flight, June 12-13, a back-up date has been scheduled for Fourth of July weekend.
