Shreveport-Bossier Fourth of July 2025
Where to Eat
Start your Independence Day with a delicious Southern Maid Donuts where you can taste one of Shreveport-Bossier's favorite breakfast items. Southern Maid always keeps the donuts for you as they say "Hot! Hot! Hot!"
Continue your day of celebration with more food that tastes like freedom. Buy mouthwatering burgers and sausages from Smith Family Farms for a cookout at home or enjoy a feast that honors the stars and stripes at Red White Blue BBQ, with smoky flavors and savory sauces. If you want something more southern head to The Magnolia Pit which offers a timeless Southern BBQ experience, with tender ribs and pulled pork.
You can’t have a Fourth of July celebration without something sweet. Go to Counter Culture for their signature Humphreys and satisfy your taste buds with their mix of frozen yogurt and choice of fruit all coming together in one delightful snack.
Cheering to Freedom
Satisfy your thirst this Independence Day by exploring Shreveport-Bossier’s vibrant craft beer scene. Kick things off with a refreshing beer at Great Raft Brewing, where brews blend effortlessly with timeless flavors. Then head to the lively East Bank District to go to the Flying Heart Brewing & Pub where a welcoming vibe meets amazing food and drinks. You can also visit the Seventh Tap where the craft beer is awesome, and the people are even more awesome.
