Thank you for using the form below to add your event to our Calendar of Events page, formerly SBFunGuide.com. This website is maintained and promoted by Visit Shreveport-Bossier to help locals and visitors discover things to see and do in Shreveport-Bossier.
All events will be reviewed and, if accepted, posted within 5-10 business days. Events are accepted at the sole discretion of SBFunGuide.com. SBFunGuide.com reserves the right to edit submissions for grammar, style, accuracy and content. We may also omit any events not suitable for the site.
Organizations may submit events that are professional cultural entertainment including art, cultural, sports and recreational events that are open to the general public. To be eligible, events must occur at a specific place and time in the 10-parish area of Northwest Louisiana, Region 7, which includes Bienville, Bossier, Caddo, Claiborne, DeSoto, Lincoln, Natchitoches, Red River, Sabine and Webster parishes.
Adult entertainment will not be accepted, nor will events whose sole purpose is to promote religion or religious philosophy. Events that promote a political campaign are not eligible. Events that are not offered to the general public will not be accepted. Please review our categories to ensure your event is relevant to our content.
Be sure to provide detailed and accurate information including the name of the event, organization producing the event, venue for the event, date, time, price, ticket purchase option if applicable (ticketing website or organization website) and a digital photo depicting your event.
- Images should be in landscape orientation and at least 600 pixels wide and at least 400 pixels tall. The width should be approximately 1.5 times as wide as it is tall. Images may be larger, but not smaller, and must be in .jpg, .gif or .png format. Images in portrait orientation and images that are extremely wider than they are tall will not display properly in the space allotted.
- The description should be written in paragraph form using sentence case and standard punctuation. Please do not use capitalization or exclamation marks for emphasis. Be sure to describe what the visitor can expect to experience at the event.

The annual Miller Town Harvest Festival is a great experience for the whole family. In addition to a corn maze, hayride and animal parade, the kids can get their faces painted, ride a pony, and burn off lots of energy in a bounce house. Food will be available for purchase from Farmer Dan's food truck and beverages are available for purchase in the concession stands. - Unacceptable description:
HOT DOGS! PONY RIDES! FOOD TRUCKS AND MORE! Come to the Miller Town Harvest Festival and enjoy a Corn Maze, Hayride, and Animal Parade. Kids can get their FACES PAINTED!!

Events that occur in Caddo and Bossier parishes are eligible to apply for marketing grants through Visit Shreveport-Bossier. One of the eligibility criteria is that your event must be listed on our Calendar of Events Page, formerly SBFunGuide.com.
To be eligible, events must occur in the 10-parish area of Northwest Louisiana, Region 7,
which includes Bienville, Bossier, Caddo, Claiborne, DeSoto, Lincoln,
Natchitoches, Red River, Sabine and Webster parishes.
