PARISH OF CADDO ENCOURAGES CITIZENS TO JOIN THE “WAR ON LITTER” SEPTEMBER 21
Caddo Parish,LA – The Parish of Caddo is encouraging citizens to do their part and join the war on litter by participating in a special parish wide clean up event.
The “War On Litter” event will take place on Saturday, September 21 from 8am – 4pm at compactor sites across Caddo Parish. Citizens are encouraged to take this opportunity to drop off any unwanted items that may be causing clutter or contributing to litter across the Parish.
“Litter and trash continue to pose a serious issue across Caddo Parish,” said District 12 Caddo Parish Commissioner and Public Safety committee chair Ken Epperson, Sr. “We are asking all citizens to do their part in helping create a cleaner Caddo Parish by participating during this special event and removing unwanted items and trash from our Parish,” said Epperson.
A press conference to announce event details andp rovide more information on the Parish’s efforts to combat litter will take place on Tuesday, September 17 at 10:00am at the Westpark Compactor Site (7294 Westpark Rd, Shreveport, LA).
The following sites will be collecting items:
