Geek'd Con, Shreveport’s Comic Con, Returns To Downtown Shreveport

SHREVEPORT, LA — Geek'd Con, North Louisiana's premier comic and pop culture convention, comes back to Downtown Shreveport this summer. The 2026 event is scheduled for August 14th-16th, at the Shreveport Convention Center. Geek’d Con has been bringing star-studded weekends, and economic impact, to Shreveport-Bossier for over a decade.

The annual event consistently draws over 10,000 attendees, even occasionally surpassing 20,000, for the weekend. Which regularly injects millions of dollars into the Shreveport-Bossier economy. The regional and national draw is evident, with past attendees from states as far as Washington, Michigan, and New York, and vendors traveling from California, Iowa, and Florida.

David Arquette: Award-winning actor known for his work in the Scream franchise, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Never Been Kissed, and Eight Legged Freaks
Christopher Mintz-Plasse: Generational pop culture icon known for his breakout role as “McLovin” in the film Superbad. Also known as the voice of Fishlegs Ingerman in the How To Train Your Dragon series, and King Gristle, Jr. in the Trolls franchise
Shannon Elizabeth: Award-winning actress known for films like Scary Movie, Love Actually, Thirteen Ghosts, Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back, and That ‘70s Show
Chris Fehn: Longtime percussionist and backing vocalist for the Grammy Award winning band Slipknot. Known as “#3” while performing with the band.

A major highlight this year is the "Gathering of the Ghostface," commemorating the 30th anniversary of the original 1996 Scream film. Geek’d Con will host the largest gathering of Ghostface actors to date. You will see the ORIGINAL Ghostface, Lee Waddell, Ghostface from Scream 2 Allen Robinson, Ghostface from Scream 3 Jeff Brockton, Ghostface from Scream 6 Max Laferriere, and even the Ghostface from the Scary Movie franchise, Dave Sheridan, in attendance.
