2. Shreveport Aquarium and Abby Singer’s Bistro
There’s no need to mourn the passing of another summer Shark Week because Shark Week can be every week at the Shreveport Aquarium! Guests can enjoy over 1,000 animals (and even touch some sea stars and anemones). Make the aquarium your own deep-sea adventure.
After the aquarium, you can make your way over to Abby Singer’s Bistro. They offer a variety of food including classic Southern comfort dishes like shrimp and grits. They are also located above the Robinson Film Center, so the Shreveport-Bossier mini adventure can continue with a movie!
3. Sci-Port Discovery Center and The Missing Link
Sci-Port Discovery Center makes science fun! They have everything from the Sawyer Space Dome Planetarium to the PoP Children’s Museum. If you’re looking for more of a brain break, they also show movies at their IMAX Dome. Guests will leave Sci-Port with lessons and memories that will last a lifetime.
