Especially at Margaritaville's newest Cigar Bar in Shreveport-Bossier!
It’s New Yorky City meets Bossier City at the new Club Macanudo in Margaritaville Casino. The well-appointed, luxury cigar lounge is just up the elevators immediately inside the casino entrance and a short walk down the hall.
Manager Stephen Ford kindly showed me around the lounge and proudly pointed out the Bossier City location is only the second Club Macanudo in the United States. The other location is on E. 63rd Street in New York City’s Upper East Side – one block from Central Park.
With a full bar and well-stocked, walk-in humidor, cigar lovers will feel right at home in the upscale space. Patrons can enjoy their cigars indoors in the lounge with comfortable seating available on the floor or at the bar. Or, when the weather is nice, customers can spend their evening relaxing on the airy, outdoor covered patio.
The patio overlooks Margaritaville’s pool and another popular bar, the Busted Coconut. To add to the enticement, the patio at Club Macanudo also offers some of the best views in Bossier City. On the night I visited, the spectacular Bakowski Bridge of Lights was brightly lit in Mardi Gras colors and was visible from end to end, making this cigar lounge experience unlike any other.
From their website:
“For nearly 30 years, Club Macanudo has been a mainstay for global cigar enthusiasts and aficionados alike. Now Margaritaville Resort Casino in Bossier City is the proud home of the second Club Macanudo in the US and the fourth location worldwide.”
