The 10th Annual Shreveport Blues and Southern Soul Festival will be held, 5-11 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 1 at Festival Plaza in downtown Shreveport. The festival will include live performances by Southern Soul artists including Latimore, Till1, Benito, JoJo Reed, Ricky White, and Magic One. Advance tickets are available now for $25 each, but we’ve got a pair of tickets to give away to a lucky 20×49.com reader.

To enter, just send an e-mail to CJay@sbctb.org with the subject line “Let’s Straighten It Out” before 8 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 26. These are general admission tickets that have no resale value and may not be traded, sold or exchanged. A winner will be selected at random from among all eligible entries and notified sometime during the day on Aug. 26 by e-mail. The winner will need to be able to pick-up the tickets in person in downtown Shreveport.
