Flavor, style, and soul come to life at the Red River Revel in downtown Shreveport. The highly anticipated annual event opened September 25th-28th and will return to Festival Plaza on October 2nd-5th with more good food, live music, and talented local artisans.

Browse the colorful and uniquely curated booths while you sip an iced coffee—or a cocktail if that’s more your vibe. 2025’s artist roster includes every medium imaginable, from painting to woodworking, ceramics, and more! There’s something for every type of shopper, whether you’re looking for yourself or getting a gift for someone special.

Holiday Shopping

IDJV-Revel

Get a head start on your holiday shopping. Fine art prints, bags, jewelry, and mugs are just a few of the gift options you can find, and they’re even more special when they’re handmade with love.

Jewelry is always a great gift option, and with 10 jewelry vendors present at this year’s event, there are plenty of styles to choose from. Check out Allison Rhymes Designs, where you can find statement pieces made from oyster shells, or Redd Dott Jewelry, which specializes in antique brass cuff bracelets.

Handmade ceramic items like bowls and coffee mugs are available at Harper Handmade and NIXArt Studio.

For the outdoor lover in your life, check out Red River Leather, where you can find high-quality leather wallets and game carriers, or stop by Casey Duck Calls for a handmade duck call.

Romantic Gestures

Handmade Botanic Lab-Revel

Surprise your significant other with a gift they won’t find anywhere else.

If your partner appreciates a beautiful bouquet, how about getting them one that will never wilt? The Handmade Botanic Lab specializes in handcrafted crocheted flower bouquets with a range of flower options available, from sunflowers to lilies, roses, and more.

Intricate and unique rings, earrings, and other statement jewelry pieces are offered by Lauraglen Carlson Jewelry. Inspired by nature, your loved one is sure to get compliments every time they wear their piece.

For a fun and memorable keepsake, get a caricature portrait drawn of you and your partner at Carlson Caricatures. You can look back on it throughout the years and smile at the good memories.

Interactive Experiences

The Revel also has a few booths offering interactive experiences for festivalgoers. Give We Olive & Wine Bar a visit and taste test their olive oils and jams. Or stop by Clean Slate Botanicals’ booth where you can join in a fragrance-making workshop—the perfect memento to remember your trip. Both of these businesses have shops in Shreveport-Bossier, so you and your friends can visit them throughout the year for a fun outing.

Home/Office Décor

Art By Whitney-Revel

The Red River Revel is the perfect place to pick up some décor that will bring your home or office space to life.

For better organization, check out Carter Woodworks, where you can find wooden jewelry and keepsake boxes. They also offer cutting boards, wine stoppers, and other items to spice up your kitchen.

Artwork can really transform your walls, and you can find a multitude of different artists at the Revel specializing in different art forms, from graphic prints to oil, acrylic, and watercolor paintings. Artists like Art By Whitney and IDJV Art and Jewelry create paintings so vibrant and colorful, their subjects almost seem to pop out of their canvases.

Looking at Nothing But a Sewing Needle’s work, you could easily mistake it for photography, but despite how real the images look, the artist actually creates his work using a sewing needle.

Nothing says classy like a sculpture, and there are two sculptors featured at this year’s Red River Revel—Hands Unlimited and Zim-Ibwe Sculptures. Check them out for one-of-a-kind pieces that will look great on a desk or table.
