The Countdown Begins For 2025 Prize Fest
The time has almost arrived for the 2025 Prize Fest from October 15th-19th. Prize Fest is a yearly event that helps bring together creators, dreamers, and fans from all walks of life to celebrate the very best of Music, Food, Comedy, and Films. It is a one-of-a-kind experience where creativity and community collide in the most unforgettable way.
Whether you’re a foodie on the hunt for the best dishes to try, a film lover looking for new stories, a music fan looking for your new favorite band, or wanting to laugh until you can’t breathe, prize fest has something to love for just about everyone.
Here are just some of the events and competitions taking place at Prize Fest!
Food Prize
Food enthusiasts, are you ready for a whole week of food prizes? Starting on Wednesday October 15th, six semi-finalist chefs will team up with six Celebrity Mentor Chefs to try and create the most tasteful dishes. And the best part- you have the opportunity to taste each dish and vote for your favorite chef. At the end, only three chefs will be selected to move on to the finals. On Friday October 17th, enjoy a bbq experience like no other with Top Chef winner Tristen Epps and other celebrity and local chefs. They will serve mouthwatering bbq dishes, sides, and desserts. Finally, on Saturday October 18th, watch as the three finalist chefs compete in a live audience cooking showdown. With only 45 minutes and a secret ingredient, only one can come out on top. This is a week you and your tastebuds will surely not want to miss.
Film Prize
Movie lovers, on October 16 – October 19th it's time to get your popcorn and settle in for an unforgettable weekend of fun and film. Be a part of one of the PrizeFests most anticipated events by watching and judging 20 short films. These 20 short films have been handpicked and selected from hundreds of entries to be featured. However, only one can be the winner, and you have the power to vote for which one that should be. But the excitement doesn’t just stop at the screen, there are tons of other events and activities throughout the week One of those events is the Red-Carpet event where you can join the filmmakers to celebrate their achievements as well as an afterglow party that is sure to be a banger of a party you won’t forget.
Comedy Prize
Get ready to laugh until it hurts - the Louisiana Comedy Prize, on October 16, is bringing the laughs and the punchlines. Eight hilarious standup comedians from across the country are coming to the stage for one mission - to make you laugh till you cry. They are joking it out for the $2,500 prize and ultimate bragging rights. Check out the schedule and the comedians here.
Music Prize
On October 17 – October 18th Let the beat move your soul at Louisiana's biggest celebration of sound. The 2025 Music Prize is a huge competition where over 1,000 people have entered to compete but only 10 artists have been selected to participate, each hoping to take home the $10,000 cash grand prize. It is two nights of nothing but great music and even greater vibes, where you get to not only listen to fantastic music but also vote for your favorites. Check out the bands scheduled to compete.
