On Monday, June 1, Gov. John Bel Edwards announced that Louisiana would move to “phase two” of business re-openings (see details of phase two here) on Friday, June 5. Phase two allows lots of beloved local businesses to resume operations and also allows other businesses, such as restaurants and movie theaters, to increase their permitted occupancy from 25% to 50%.
Here are a few popular spots that will resume welcoming guests this week:

“We ask that our customers and friends and family wear masks, and we’ll have gloves and hand sanitizer available at our front desk as well,” Larsen said. “We’ll have masks available at our front desk, or you can wear your own, of course. But who doesn’t want a beautiful mask made by a local artist?”
