1. At America’s Rose Garden, formerly known as the American Rose Center, located at 8877 Jefferson Paige Rd in Shreveport, don’t miss their eclipse viewing party! They will have music, a food truck, and eclipse certified eyewear (eyewear will be first come, first serve). Stay tuned with their Facebook for updates on this event.
 

2. Visit the Shreve Memorial Library at various branches for a viewing party complete with programs and fun for all ages from April 1-8! This cosmic event is complete with storytimes, STEAM programs, and arts and crafts all week long. Find more information and specific branches on their Facebook page
 

Where can viewers secure eclipse certified eyewear?
 

1. Sci-Port Discovery Center has eclipse glasses at their giftshop so visitors can watch the skies with peace of mind.
 

2. KTBS is partnering with WK Eye Institute to give away free solar eclipse glasses that are in line with the ISO certification for safely viewing the eclipse. You can pick up a pair at the KTBS 3 studio between 9am and 5pm while supplies last!
