Carnival season in Louisiana officially begins on Twelfth Night, which falls on Sunday, Jan. 5, 2020. From Twelfth Night through Fat Tuesday, Feb. 25, locals and visitors will gather in Shreveport-Bossier to celebrate a busy calendar of parades, parties, concerts and other Mardi Gras events.

Shreveport-Bossier’s Mardi Gras parade calendar begins on Saturday, Jan. 18 with the Krewe of Sobek Parade and runs through Fat Tuesday, with the largest parade weekends scheduled for Feb. 14-16 and Feb. 21-23. See a complete list of Mardi Gras events in Shreveport-Bossier.
