In 2018, visitors to Shreveport-Bossier spent approximately $762 million, generating $97.63 million in state and local tax revenues. That year—the most recent year for which data is available—the tourism and hospitality sector employed approximately 10,870 people in Shreveport-Bossier, representing more than $259 million in combined earnings.
