Foodies rejoiced when 318 Restaurant Week was held May 7-13, 2023! This was a great opportunity to support local restaurants, savor delicious meals, and enjoy special deals, discounts, and prizes during the annual 318 Restaurant Week.

318 Restaurant Week featured the best restaurants and unique culinary creations around Shreveport-Bossier. During the seven-day event, participating restaurants invited locals and visitors to savor inventive dishes with in-person dining and takeout. With 318 Restaurant Week  – sponsored by Visit Shreveport-Bossier – special deals, discounts and prizes were offered to locals and visitors who participated in the week-long event. It’s also the perfect opportunity to break out of your comfort zone and try something new. And a fantastic way of supporting local restaurants and businesses throughout Shreveport-Bossier.

With over 50 participating restaurants, locals and visitors were able to savor an expansive collection of Louisiana’s love language (Food) and unique cuisines during Restaurant Week. Local and visitor foodies who visited Niema’s Cookery Corner in Shreveport discovered what makes West African and Caribbean cuisine so Bold… Flavorful… Unique and delicious with her marinated and Grilled Portobello Mushroom Flatbread. Also located in Shreveport, guests who visited Flames Mediterranean Restaurant were transported to the coast of the Mediterranean when they indulged in the perfectly spiced marinated boneless chicken tenderloin skewered and grilled to perfection with a choice of rice and vegetables or salad. If you had a sweet tooth, 318 Restaurant Week had you covered. Guests who visited Boba Xpress in Bossier were treated to the sweet taste of boba milk tea and a piece of cake. The delectable menu items that were created for each participating restaurant in Shreveport-Bossier during 318 Restaurant Week was an experience you will never forget.

First time participant in 318 Restaurant Week, Sia Ravari, Owner of Flames Mediterranean Restaurant, said that his sales doubled during 318 Restaurant Week. 

“This was the first year that we have participated in 318 Restaurant Week and we would love to participate in 318 Restaurant Week again. Being a part of the 318 Restaurant week brought in new customers who are becoming regulars. Thank you to Visit Shreveport-Bossier for continued support in local restaurants,” said Ravari.
